My name is Elizabeth Guevara, I exist in the space between Salvadoran-American. I'm a queer Latina whose passion for storytelling & strategy led me to earn a Master degree from the award-winning Mayborn School of Journalism at the University of North Texas. I currently reside in Sunny SoCal and spend my time researching Gen Z trends + serving as a Digital Strategist for a small production company in Marina Del Rey.

  • Built & maintained LifeCare’s social media presence.

  • Created and wrote LifeCare's editorial style guide + social media style guide, brand voice, and tone, setting the foundation for all external communications.

  • Wrote social media channel growth strategies, content strategies, and paid media strategies to help increase LifeCare’s presence across all platforms

  • Directly managed all 26 of the brand's social media accounts and reported on insights/analytics 

  • Maintained and managed LifeCare’s brand reputation, and developed crisis communications strategies.

  • Acted as sole Copyeditor developing print, email, web, social, and digital copy while adhering to AP style and William Strunk Jr.'s The Elements of Style. 

  • Wrote short-form and long-form copy for LifeCare's campaigns; ghost-wrote articles published in magazines and research publications; wrote media announcements, press releases, social media copy, and articles in publications. 

  • Worked with creative team to ensure all messaging was consistent with LifeCare Brand Standards.

  • Served as the Digital Media Manager for B2B & B2C clients; successfully increased traffic, followers, and engagement for all clients’ social channels.

  • Crafted creative copy (English/Spanish), wrote blog posts for clients, email newsletters, etc.

  • Developed email marketing campaigns and paid social ads for all TDG clients; Increased Shops at Park Lane’s email click-rate and open rate (above industry average).

  • Managed, reported, and pulled insights on success of paid advertising campaigns for all clients.

  • Managed a team of 2 coordinators and 3 interns, mentoring them on how to build social ad campaigns.

Univision, community affairs + Marketing

  • Monitor Univision Dallas’ social channels; engage followers through community management and encourage user-generated content, photos, videos.

  • Assisted in the casting process for national reality shows Objetivo Fama and Nuestra Belleza Latina
